Al Gore’s Crumbling Credibility Cracked By Climategate …“Super cereal” carbon billionaire has about as much integrity left as his South Park caricature…

It has not been a good month for Al Gore. If I wanted to enter an understatement of the year contest I’m pretty sure that one would win.

Citing “unforeseen circumstances”, Gore has been forced to cancel an event in Copenhagen that he was due to speak at ahead of the climate change talks next week.

Ticket holders who had paid up to $1200 each for the event, ironically titled “Climate Conclusion”, will be forced to seek refunds.

The circumstances that have forced Gore to keep a low profile are almost certainly related to the climategate scandal, which is now the most viral topic on the internet.

Research presented here by Richard North shows that the ratio between the number of general web pages on Google and the number of news reports recorded puts climategate way in front of Afghanistan, Tiger Woods and Obama in terms of general interest.

It is also no coincidence that Gore has been confronted on several occasions in the past few days.

From Portland to Chicago, almost everywhere Gore has made a public appearance lately, he has been booed, protested and challenged by alert Americans who are refusing to go along with his fearmongering assertions:

From his direct connections to Maurice Strong to his mansion that uses 20 times the energy of the average American home, people are finally waking up to the fact that the world’s first Carbon billionaire is perhaps not the right guy to be listening to when it comes to theories of climate change.

Photoshopping hurricanes, melting ice caps and mass flooding onto the front cover of his latest book, Our Choice; A Plan To Solve The Climate Crisis hasn’t impressed too many people either. The inside of the book, which still maintains a thoroughly disproved hurricane-climate link, proves that in this case you really can judge a book by it’s cover.

Two members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have even called for Gore’s 2007 Oscar to be rescinded in light of climategate and the further inaccuracies uncovered within An Inconvenient Truth, in addition to the nine factual errors a British court has declared.

“In the history of the academy, not to my knowledge has an Oscar ever been rescinded. I think they should rescind this one,” academy member Roger L. Simon said Thursday.

When will the rest of the Media report this??? Al Gore is a fraud and a liar… the same guy who father tried to fillibuster civil rights… Hypocryte blow hard …

Dad of slain WTC beau says Rachel’s not girl he knew …”She was a different person then.” …Rachel Uchitel… Tiger Woods Mistress, lost her fiancé on 9/11…. so much collateral damage…

“She was a different person then.”

Those were the words spoken by Rachel Uchitel’s bewildered would-be father-in-law, as he sadly recalled yesterday the stark changes she’s undergone since she lost her fiancé on 9/11.

Uchitel lost fiance

In the years after becoming the “face” of grief of the terror attacks in an iconic
front-page Post photo — clutching a “missing” poster of her husband-to-be, Andy O’Grady — Uchitel barreled into a wild new life that culminated with her involvement in the sensational Tiger Woods sex scandal.

O’Grady was 32 and a managing director for investment bank Sandler O’Neill when he died after the second plane slammed into the south tower of the World Trade Center.

Since his death, the stunning Uchitel, now 33, reinvented herself as jet-setting, VIP hostess at trendy nightclubs, who wound up on front pages across the country this week as the golf legend’s alleged mistress.

For O’Grady’s dad, James, 9/11 changed her into a woman he can barely recognize.

“The last time I saw [Uchitel] was at the burial of my son — she’s not the person she appears to be now,” he said. “She wasn’t trying to be in the papers [back then]. Maybe 9/11 had an impact on her and this is how she’s dealing with that.

Speaking outside his Harrington Park, NJ, home yesterday, O’Grady said he lost touch with Uchitel after terrorists killed his son.

“I haven’t had any contact with her whatsoever,” the dad said. “He [Andy O'Grady] loved her.”

But a family friend of Uchitel isn’t surprised by the publicity she has drawn since her loss.

“This is the kind of attention that she craves,” said Colleen Clabby, Uchitel’s grandfather’s girlfriend of 20 years.

I have to be honest… i kind of feel bad for her… what would her life have been like if those Savages didnt KILL her fiance??? would she be sleeping around afraid to commit… In case her love gets taken away again???

DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITERS

Yet another blond was added to Tiger Woods’ sultry score card Saturday – earning the married father of two a quadruple bogey with his supermodel wife.

Las Vegas cocktail waitress and model Jamie Jungers, 26, reportedly hired an
Orlando lawyer and prepared to dish her story to a British tabloid, RadarOnline.com reports.

Jungers, a busty head turner whose physical features resemble the three alleged mistresses that precede her, was unavailable for comment yesterday, but updated her status on Myspace.com to say her mood was “anxious.”

TMZ.com reports that Jungers started her affair with Woods in the golfer’s suburban Orlando home in 2004 when she was just 20-years-old. She has allegedly retained Orlando lawyer Michael O’Quinn.

As the list of alleged mistresses grows a pattern begins to emerge: they are all cocktail waitresses.

Jamiee Grubbs, the only woman to publicly admit having an affair with Woods, was also a cocktail waitress.

And Rachel Uchitel, the Manhattan woman who has denied sleeping with Tiger, is a VIP hostess at trendy nightclubs.

Woods has also been linked in reports to Kalika Moquin, 27, a Vegas nightclub executive who denies any affair.

The sex scandal exploded last week after Woods, 33, mysteriously crashed his car outside his home, reportedly after an argument with wife Elin about other women.

Rep. Issa: Obama’s refusal to investigate ‘Climategate’ emails is ‘unconscionable’ … Hes gonna give away our soviernty…In the name of false science…

By Tony Romm – 12/04/09 12:52 PM ET

The U.N.’s decision this week to investigate whether some of its climate change research had been manipulated constitutes a “direct rebuke” of the Obama administration, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) said Friday.

The White House’s unwillingness to open a similar inquiry could now only be characterized as “a sad abdication of their responsibility to ensure that U.S. policies are not driven by corrupted science and data,” the congressman added.

“The very integrity of the report that the Obama administration has predicated much of its climate change policy has been called into question and it is unconscionable that this administration and Congress is willing to abdicate responsibility of uncovering the truth to the United Nations,” explained Issa, the ranking member on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Motivating Issa’s calls for a probe into climate change research, and the U.N.’s decision to launch one, was the publication last month of thousands of e-mails and other documents that global warming skeptics say prove the phenomenon does not exist.

This should show… Its not about Climate change or global warming or whatever they call it this week. This is and always has been about transferring the wealth… Its a Global tax … a Global government TAX… Its all about money … follow the money

Kimbo Slice Beats Houston Alexander by Decision at Ultimate Fighter Finale…

12/05/2009 10:50 PM ET By Michael David Smith

Making his long-awaited live UFC debut, the former street fighter turned Internet video sensation Kimbo Slice defeated Houston Alexander Saturday night at the Ultimate Fighter Finale in Las Vegas.

“Thank God, man,” Kimbo said afterward. “It feels good.”

Many fans booed the decision, and Kimbo acknowledged those boos, saying, “I’m sorry — we did our best.”

Although it was expected to be a good, old-fashioned brawl, it didn’t start that way: For the first minute and a half of the fight Kimbo and Alexander just circled around the Octagon and didn’t throw any punches at all. Eventually Alexander started kicking Kimbo in the legs, but it was almost three minutes into the fight before Kimbo even threw a punch. The first round was a huge disappointment, with hardly any action at all, and the fans booed as the fighters went to their corners.

Houston Alexander Excited to Fight Kimbo Slice

In the second it was more of the same at first, but Kimbo eventually landed a powerful jab that snapped Alexander’s head back and then got on top of Alexander on the ground. That’s when Kimbo came alive and started landing punches on the ground, although Kimbo’s Brazilian jiu jitsu skills are still rudimentary, and he was unable to take advantage of some opportunities to apply submissions.

By the third round both fighters were exhausted, and the pace slowed down. Alexander landed a very hard leg kick that knocked Kimbo to the ground, but Kimbo fought back and brought Alexander down with him. The fighters stalemated on the ground until the referee separated them and stood them back up with a minute remaining. In the final seconds Alexander staggered Kimbo with a hard punch, and when the final bell sounded both guys doubled over and sucked air.

The judges scored the bout 30-27, 29-28 and 29-28 for Kimbo.

Kimbo (who is hardly ever referred to by his real name, Kevin Ferguson) is one of America’s most famous and most controversial mixed martial arts fighters. Some in the MMA community think Kimbo’s background in fighting on the streets is bad for the sport, while others think his fame has been great for the sport by attracting new fans. When Kimbo fought on CBS in 2008 his fights did strong ratings, but when he lost a fight by knockout just 14 seconds into the first round, he was derided as a fraud.

Now Kimbo is in the UFC, and although he showed some toughness by going the distance with Alexander, he also showed that he’s never going to be an elite mixed martial artist. He’s simply too stiff and slow to become a great fighter. Maybe some day he can become a good one.

Still, Kimbo weighed in at 212 pounds and looked chiseled, and reports out of his training camp, American Top Team, indicated that he was working hard at both his strength and conditioning and his martial arts skills.

“I want to thank ATT,” Kimbo said afterward of his gym.

And by beating Alexander, he managed to win his first MMA fight against a legitimate opponent. Kimbo isn’t a great fighter, but on this night, he was a winning fighter.
