Golfer Tiger Woods has been linked to another woman, this time an A-list celeb, none other than wannabe country star Jessica Simpson. GASP! Tiger and Jessica met at the AT&T National Pro-Am Golf tournament in Bethesda, Md, where her boyfriend at the time, Tony Romo, was partnered with the infamous golfer.

“Tiger liked what he saw and let her know it,” a source tells Star. “Jessica said that she felt like Tony wasn’t paying attention to her, so she was like, ‘What the heck!’ ” says the source. “She decided to have fun with Tiger whether it bothered Tony or not.”

Jessica and Tomy had been fighting and the lonely singer needed some attention so she decided to give the nice golfer a chance, according to Star. Jessica Simpson is so angry over Star magazine linking her to Tiger Woods that the buxom blond may sue the celebrity rag.

Various media report that the singer is threatening legal action against the publication after it ran a cover story claiming she was the latest addition to the golfer’s growing harem.

“Tiger liked what he saw and let her know it,” a source allegedly told Star.

Simpson took to Twitter yesterday to lash out at the supposed fabrication.

“Can’t believe that I’m on the cover of star magazine with Tiger Woods, what a JOKE! ‘The Shocking Inside Story’ is (insert drumroll) A LIE!”

Featuring a cover photo of Simpson and Woods together, Star reported that the duo exchanged e-mail addresses and phone numbers after meeting at the AT&T National Pro-Am golf tournament in Bethesda, Md.
