Carl Edwards, who has feuded with Brad Keselowski many times in the past, has been under fire this morning for “unintentionally” sending his opponent into the air in a scary crash that sent debris flying at the race audience.
NASCAR’s Atlanta race ended with 7 fans injured, according to Fox News
, after Carl bumped Brad and sent him flying in a horrifying crash that could have resulted in death.
Edwards, who says the hit was “unintentional”, hit up his Facebook after the crash:
“My options: Considering that Brad wrecks me with no regard for anyone’s safety or hard work, should I: A-Keep letting him wreck me? B-Confront him after the race? C-Wait til bristol and collect other cars? or D-Take care of it now? I want to be clear that I was surprised at his flight and very relieved when he walked away. Every person has to decide what code they want to live by and hopefully this explains mine.”
Brad Keselowski Tweeted: “That was a wild ride. I’m okay and I’m glad no fans were hurt. What makes it worse is we had a great car.”
Brad also said Edwards’ hit was “not cool” and that it “could have killed someone in the grandstands.”
ironically, Brad Keselowski sent Carl Edwards flying into the air at Talladega last year and consequently, won the race.
