Dr. Jacquelyn Kotarac Dies of Mechanical Asphyxia After Getting Stuck in Chimney

Usually the only time you hear about someone coming down a chimney to get into a home, is when telling your children Christmas stories. However, Dr. Jacquelyn Kotarac is one person who tried to pull of a Santa-like entry.

Dr. Jacquelyn Kotarac, tried to get into a home of someone who she was in an “on again, off again” relationship with, last Wednesday night. When she determined that there was no feasible way of entering the home, she elected to climb a latter to the roof of the house. Upon getting up there, she proceeded to removed the chimney cap from the chimney, and hop down.

Unfortunately for Kotarac, she didn’t make it to the bottom, before dying of mechanical asphyxia (also known as suffocation). The problem was, the owner of the house, snuck out before he realized that Kotarac didn’t make it.

It wasn’t for 3 day until her body was found in the chimney. A house sitter and her son, discovered the body when they saw bodily fluids dripping down the chimney into the fireplace.

It took firefighters nearly 5 hours to take the chimney apart and get Kotarac’s body out. It is apparent that the chimney was a bit too small for her body. It compressed her chest so much, that she could no longer take a breath of air…

(GRAPHIC VIDEO) Twisted F*#K Teenage Girl Hurls Puppies Into The River!!! WTF?

Teenage girl throws puppies into a river in online video

A video apparently showing a teenage girl throwing puppies into a river has sparked outrage online.

The images were originally uploaded via a YouTube account on a site called Liveleak.

It appears to show a young girl with long blond hair in a red hooded top picking up newborn puppies by the scruff of the neck and hurling them into a fast-flowing river.

It is not clear whether the clip is a hoax following the furor created by CCTV footage of Mary Bale, a woman from Coventry, who was caught on camera putting a cat in a wheelie bin.

Liveleak has disabled its comment facility to prevent users from publicising personal information but other forum sites were determined to track her down.

Some comments claim to have identified the girl as being from the town of Bugojno in Central Bosnia, which has an estimated population of 50,000.

The river Vrbas flows through the town which is a favorite hunting spot with dense forest.

Calls to identify the teenage girl were led by 4Chan – an internet forum which claims to have been the first to identify Miss Bale.

The 45 year-old received death threats and was given police protection after her employer and home address were published on the internet.

She later apologized profusely for her actions describing them as “out of character”.

A spokesman for the animal welfare group PETA said they had alerted “local activists” in Bosnia to the video.

(GRAPIC VIDEO) Ndamukong Suh Plays ‘Kill The QB’ With Brown’s Jake Delhomme

Video: Ndamukong Suh Roughs Up Browns QB Jake Delhomme

The good news for the Detroit Lions is that in rookie defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, they’ve found themselves a player who likes to rough up opposing quarterbacks.

The bad news is that if Suh makes a habit of roughing up opposing quarterbacks the way he did to Cleveland’s Jake Delhomme on Saturday, he’s going to get suspended.

In the second quarter of the Browns-Lions preseason game, Suh absolutely brutalized Delhomme.

Suh grabbed Delhomme by the facemask, yanked him down as he threw the ball away, then tossed him to the Ford Field turf like a rag doll. It was an ugly, dirty play, albeit a play that showed the kind of fiery aggressiveness that makes for a great defensive tackle.

When the referee announced the penalty, the fans in Detroit started to boo, but if anything, Suh was lucky he got nothing more than a 15-yard facemask penalty.

The ref easily could have given Suh two separate personal fouls, one for the facemask and one for throwing Delhomme down after the facemask, and even would have been justified in ejecting Suh. There’s no question that Suh will get fined by the league.

(REAL FIGHT VIDEO) UFC 118: Edgar Beat’s Penn Again, Couture Submits Toney!!!

Randy Couture dominates James Toney at UFC 118

BOSTON – Mixed martial arts can be an unpredictable sport, but Saturday night at UFC 118, Randy Couture knew exactly what he wanted to do to James Toney.

He wanted to shoot low for a single-leg takedown, something easily defended by a grappler but an unfamiliar attack for a boxer like Toney is used to handling.

By going low at the start of their bout Saturday at UFC 118, he gave Toney no chance to counterpunch. Couture quickly began his usual ground-and-pound assault, but he didn’t want a knockout — he was just trying to set up an arm-triangle choke he has been practicing for a year.

“You kind of want James to have the complete martial arts experience,” Couture said.

An accomplished amateur wrestler before his MMA career, Couture wasted no time taking the larger Toney down, and the boxing champion showed no ability to respond once he was on the ground.

Couture immediately established full mount, straddling Toney’s torso and landing short punches as he has done throughout his career.

Toney slowed Couture’s progress by keeping his arms in the way as Couture worked for an arm-triangle choke. He fended off one attempt, which Couture relinquished in favor of more punches. The second attempt at the choke was more secure, and Toney flailed his hand to tap out, 3:19 into the fight.

Edgar beats BJ Penn again, silences doubters at UFC 118

BOSTON — There’s no question about Frank “The Answer” Edgar’s mastery of BJ Penn now.

With a unanimous five-round decision Saturday at UFC 118 over, Edgar (13-1) defended his lightweight belt against the man he took it from four months ago. All three judges scored it 50-45 for Edgar, meaning Penn (15-7-1) did not win a single round this time.

“I feel like I walked on water,” Edgar said. “I want to thank BJ. He brought the best out of me. Having to prepare for him for eight months has just done nothing but bless my career.”

As he did in April, Edgar moved quickly, not letting Penn throw punch combinations. This time Edgar beat Penn to the punch even more often, and he was more successful with takedowns. The champion wrestled Penn to the mat several times and made him pay with punches each he scrambled up.

“I guess it looked like the same kind of fight as the last time, but he got off good,” Penn said. “Much respect.”

In the film ‘Waking Life’, Alex Jones was allowed to candidly speak his mind about the state of our hypnotized culture, injecting his political revelations into the mainstream consciousness. Now, the Infowars team has expanded that animated rant to illustrate many of the issues he discusses, capturing the zeitgest of a politically-manipulated reality

Alex Jones’ rant from “Waking Life”

I thought it was worth posting in light of our nation’s situation at the hands of the Bushistas:

“You can’t fight city hall. Death and taxes. Don’t talk about politics or religion. This is all the equivalent of enemy propaganda rolling across the picket line. Lay down G.I.! Lay down G.I.!

We saw it all through the 20th century, and now, in the 21st century, it’s time to stand up and realize that we should not allow ourselves to be crammed into this rat maze. We should not submit to de-humanization.

I don’t know about you, but I’m concerned with what’s happening in this world. I’m concerned with the structure. I’m concerned with the systems of control: those that control my life, and those that seek to control it even more. I want freedom, that’s what I want! And that’s what you should want! It’s up to each and every one of us to turn loose and just suck up the greed, the hatred, the envy, and yes, the insecurities, because that is the central mode of control; Make us feel pathetic, small, so we’ll willingly give up our sovereignty, our liberty, our destiny. We have got to realize that we’re being conditioned on a mass scale. Start challenging this corporate slave-state!

The 21st century is going to be a new century, not the century of slavery, not the century of lies and issues of no significance, and classism and statism, and all the rest of the modes of control! It’s going to be the age of humankind standing up for something pure, and something right. What a bunch of garbage: liberal, democrat, conservative, republican. It’s all there to control you! Two sides of the same coin. Two management teams bidding for control, the CEO job, of Slavery Inc.!

The truth is out there in front of you, but they lay out this buffet of lies. I’m sick of it and I’m not going to take a bite out of it, do you got me?! Resistance is not futile, we’re gonna win this thing, humankind is too good, we’re not a bunch of under-achievers! We’re gonna stand up, and we’re gonna be human beings. We’re going to get fired up about the real things, the things that matter: creativity and the dynamic human spirit that refuses to submit. Well, that’s it, that’s all I got to say. The ball’s in your court.”

(INJURY VIDEO) Phenom Stephen Strasburg Needs Tommy John Surgery After “Signifigant Tear”…

Strasburg has ‘significant tear’; Tommy John surgery likely

August 27, 2010

WASHINGTON (AP) — Stephen Strasburg has a torn elbow ligament and will likely have Tommy John surgery, bringing the pitcher’s promising rookie season to an abrupt end.

Washington Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo said Friday an MRI on the right elbow revealed a “significant tear.” Strasburg will travel to the West Coast for a second opinion, but Rizzo anticipates the 22-year-old right-hander will need the operation that requires 12 to 18 months of rehabilitation.

“As you can imagine, he was initially upset,” Rizzo said. “But he has really turned himself from being upset to being focused on his rehabilitation. He’s determined to get the surgery done and begin the process of rehabilitation.”

Strasburg was pulled from Saturday’s game at Philadelphia when he grimaced while grabbing and shaking his wrist after throwing a changeup to Dominic Brown. The Nationals initially called the injury a strained flexor tendon in the forearm, but an MRI taken Sunday raised enough questions for the Nationals to order a more extensive MRI in which dye is injected into the arm.

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2009 draft, Strasburg signed a record $15.1 million contract a year ago. He struck out 14 batters in a sensational major league debut in June and was quickly drawing huge crowds everywhere, drawing gasps with his 100 mph fastballs, bending curves and wicked batter-freezing changeups.

He went 5-3 with a 2.91 ERA and 92 strikeouts in 68 innings with the Nationals, who have kept him on strict pitch counts and had planned to shut him down once he reached about 105 innings.

But he has had medical setbacks despite the team’s best efforts to be as cautious as possible. He was placed on the disabled list a month ago because of inflammation in the back of his right shoulder. He was making his third start since returning from the DL when he had to leave the game against Philadelphia.

“The player was developed and cared for in the correct way, and things like this happen,” Rizzo said. “Pitchers break down, pitchers get hurt and we certainly are not second-guessing ourselves. … Frustrated? Yes. But second-guessing ourselves? No.”

Rizzo said doctors believe Strasburg hurt himself on a particular pitch, as opposed to a gradual buildup. When Strasburg grimaced in game at Philadelphia, he told the team he had felt something similar at San Diego State and had continued to pitch through it. Doctors have decided that what happened in college was unrelated to the ligament tear.

Even so, Strasburg has been saying this week he is strong enough to pitch.

“Stephen felt pretty good and still feels OK,” Nationals president Stan Kasten said. “And that’s why this has been so confounding.”

Nicole John Dead: Teen Daughter Of US Ambassador Falls 22 Stories To Death

NEW YORK — A 17-year-old girl whose father is the U.S. ambassador to Thailand slipped off her shoes and stepped out onto the ledge of a Manhattan high-rise apartment with a camera before plummeting more than 20 stories to her death, police said.

Nicole John fell about 4:15 a.m., apparently from the top floor of the 25-story Herald Towers, police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said. She was found on a third-floor ledge with severe trauma to her body after people across the street saw her fall.

Her death was believed to be an accident. John was believed to have been drinking, and 25-year-old Ilan Nassimi, who rents the apartment, was arrested later Friday on charges of unlawful dealing with a minor, police said. No attorney information was available for Nassimi.

John was an incoming freshman at the Parsons The New School for Design and lived in Manhattan’s East Village. She and others had been out earlier at a Manhattan club, leaving around 2 a.m. go to the apartment on West 34th Street near the Empire State Building, Kelly said.

Police believe the apartment may have been cleaned up by the time investigators arrived, but they think about a dozen people where there and had been drinking.

John had a fake ID from Brazil that gave her age as 23 or 24. The medical examiner was scheduled to perform an autopsy and toxicology tests Saturday.

The girl’s father, Eric John, was appointed U.S. ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand in 2007. A spokeswoman for the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok, Kristin Kneedler, said they were just getting details, and had no immediate comment.
