Bruce Springsteen’s “Human Touch” made her melt.
Ann Kelly, 45, was a housewife living with her mortgage-broker husband and two children in a $600,000 home in a leafy New Jersey suburb.
But when the married Springsteen entered her life in 2005 — showering her with concert tickets, serenading her during rehearsals and confessing she was on his mind while he toured — the Jersey girl got lost in a “Tunnel of Love,” court records alleged.
The relationship between Kelly and the “Born to Run” singer began with chitchats on the treadmills at a high-priced Red Bank, NJ, gym, but the pace quickened with lunch dates and eventually a full-on affair, her soon-to-be ex-husband claimed.
Ann Kelly had the “nicest ass” at her gym, Bruce Springsteen said, according to a suit. The two allegedly had lunch dates with her two kids present.
Accusations of an illicit tryst came to light after Ann’s husband of 17 years, Arthur Kelly, 46, filed for divorce on March 27, 2009.
During the yearlong divorce proceeding, Arthur filed court papers alleging that Ann enjoyed a rendezvous with Springsteen while the husband was laid up in a hospital with heart trouble. Arthur also discussed marriage-counseling sessions at which The Boss was the main topic.
The bitter divorce is expected to be settled this week.
Rumors that Springsteen was stepping out with a redheaded knockout who was a dead ringer for Patti Scialfa, his wife of 18 years, began to swirl among gym rats at The Atlantic Club in 2005.
Arthur says Ann told him that Springsteen, 60, would stand at the end of her treadmill as she ran. It must have been a tempting vantage point for the “Thunder Road” singer because he once told Ann she had the “nicest ass” in the gym, Arthur says.
Workouts spilled into lunches at a nearby cafe, with Ann’s two daughters sometimes tagging along. The children got to know Springsteen so well that they called him “Bruce,” according to court records.

A husband who accused his wife of having an affair with Bruce Springsteen hoped the rocker would pay “big money” to make the accusations go away, according to divorce papers.
Ann Kelly – whom hubby Arthur Kelly alleged was having an affair with the singer – claims he knew she was not romantically involved with The Boss.
But he made the “false” claim in their divorce in a bid to get a cash payment that would ‘humiliate’ and ‘harass’ his wife, and get him “media attention”.
In divorce papers filed in New Jersey’s Ocean County Family Court, Ann Kelly, 44, said Arthur, 45, told her “he and his attorney felt there could be ‘big money’ in this… because, true or not, [Springsteen] would want this to ‘go away’”.
She claimed Arthur has admitted to her that his only “proof” of her alleged dalliance is “the gossip and impressions of some women who attend the same gym” as Ann.
A US newspaper reports that several sources say Ann and Springsteen met while both worked out at the Atlantic Club in Red Bank in 2006. The two later took memberships at another nearby club to avoid scrutiny, sources told the paper.
Ann Kelly has denied an affair and wants a judge to dismiss her husband’s adultery claim, which she called “reckless” and “beyond all possible bounds of decency”.
She also countersued Arthur for divorce, claiming extreme cruelty, irreconcilable differences, intentional infliction of emotional distress and frivolous litigation.

New York, April 11 (ANI): A New Jersey woman, in the middle of a divorce, has dismissed claims of her alleged romance with Bruce Springsteen.
The veteran rocker was dubbed as the other man in the petition, filed on the ground of adultery in a New Jersey court.
Ann Kelly’s husband Arthur had alleged in the papers filed on March 27 that Springsteen was having a long affair with his wife of 17 years.
The mum-of-two has now denied the allegations through her attorney Noel Tonneman, saying she found about the accusation from the media.

Bruce Springsteen makes me sick and it is now April 2010. I knew he had an affair and you just don’t go this far if there was nothing substantial and the fact is there was which is why Patti Scalfia missed concerts last year when this story broke out. I do not believe Arthur Kelly did anything for money as he is obviously quite affluent him self. Bruce and Patti have issues and this has been coming out for too long now and if he doesn’t want to make it the public’s business then maybe he should consider the consequences of his actions because the fact is the media is going to hound him and get the story out there. I don’t like the way this old aged rocker treats woman he did it to Julianne Phillips while married to her and she had no clue and now he is doing it to Patti Scalfia and I don’t care if she is hurt because what goes around comes around and Patti is so sickening because she screwed Springsteen with one intent to be his jersey girl and steal him from Julianne Phillips back in the 80’s. Do you remember the tabloid with him on a balcony with Scalfia in his underwear and her in her baby doll lingerie ? The woman I feel for is an innocent who got caught up in a famous person making lewd passes while she worked out and seduced her and quite frankly she is the victim while Bruce just goes on with his rich and famous life and dumps Ann Kelly most likely hurting her and going back to that talentless hag who can’t sing for shit because I believe they have kids together. Bruce Springsteen is not the greatest rocker but he has an ego that is down right disgusting. There are a lot of good rocker’s and he shows disrespect to his wife who will stay with him anyway and shameless in his pursuit of an innocent woman who got seduced and dumped by Springsteen. Bruce Springsteen is a very rich man and he makes me sick when he talks about Main street and Wall Street and how bad American is when it is this land that enabled him to become so rich and famous shame on Bruce Springsteen in many ways. He looks like he had a face lift too and has anyone noticed that? He is who he is so do not expect him to change nor do not expect Patti to leave him . He is a cheater and will always be a cheater and that is just the way he is.
